Greg Roth joined the Institute for a Competitive Workforce in August 2006 as senior manager, workforce and education programs and currently oversees a number of initiatives aimed at improving the development and improvement of the American workforce and education systems. He is a frequent presenter in conjunction with a number of initiatives and has produced reports on a variety of issues. Currently, Greg leads ICW’s Multigenerational Workforce working group, a member-driven council dedicated to examining the major issues of today’s four-generation workforce. He also leads the Career and Technical Education working group, a consortium of leaders dedicated to solving the workforce needs across a spectrum of technical industries. Prior to his joining ICW, Roth was the manager of communications and network development at the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), a professional trade association that trains and educates chamber leaders nationwide. Overall, he has seven years experience in association management, as well as a background in health care, marketing, and journalism. Finally, he has extensive volunteer experience, and has lent his time to Horton’s Kids, an inner city youth mentoring program in Washington DC, for the past six years. Roth holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Millersville University and is a native of the Lehigh Valley in eastern Pennsylvania.
