Scott McGohan is an Account Executive and Partner of McGohan Brabender. He works out of McGohan Brabender’s corporate headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. As an Account Executive, Scott is responsible for new account development and providing an exceptional level of service to existing clients. This is accomplished through continuous learning, skill development in all areas of the benefit management, and by listening to his clients’ needs. His goal is to be the trusted benefit resource for clients. Of Scott’s nearly 20 years of professional experience, all of them have been in the employee benefits industry. Scott has utilized his broad benefit and insurance knowledge to serve in a variety of roles throughout his career at McGohan Brabender. In addition to serving as Account Executive, Scott has also fulfilled responsibilities throughout the years as Director of Marketing, Sales Director, and Mentor. Upon graduating from Centerville High School, Scott continued his education at Miami University. Since then, he has come to reside on various boards and committees in the Dayton area. His roles have included President of Ohio Health Underwriters, Chair of the Mentors Matter program, and President of the Kettering/Moraine/Oakwood Chamber of Commerce. He has also operated as board member of the YMCA for ten years, and been a large participant in Men’s Ministry at SouthBrook Christian Church. Scott has been married for over 20 years to wife Lori and has two children: Courtney, 18 and Taylor, 15. When thinking about the things most important to him, Scott states that “Life’s greatest treasure is family, and I marvel at the gifts a close family can give to many.”
