Jeff Mullins has a B.A. magna cum laude, University of Dayton; J.D. summa cum laude, University of Dayton School of Law and is with the Coolidge, Wall, Womsley & Lombard, A Legal Professional Association.
Jeff practices exclusively in the areas of labor and employment law for construction, health care, manufacturing and public sector clients. He spends the majority of his time on collective bargaining issues, union avoidance campaigns and advising and defending clients in matters involving the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and sexual harassment.
One of his areas of expertise is OSHA and within that area he has provided several training classes on issues of workplace violence, medical emergencies and drug testing.
Jeff is active in Associated Builders and Contractors - Chairman of Safety Committee, YMCA of Metro Dayton - Personnel Committee, Ohio Valley Construction Education Foundation – Trustee, Voluntary Protection Program Association for Construction – Treasurer.

Cindy is Vice-President of Human Resources and an Officer of Wright-Patt Credit Union. Her background includes two degrees from Michigan State University: a B.A. in Personnel Administration and a B.S. in Psychology. Cindy has worked in human resource management for over twenty years in a variety of industries including education, manufacturing, tourism, data processing and financial services. In addition, for several years she owned and operated an independent consulting business offering human resource management services. Today, she is the Director of Human Resources for AAA Miami Valley and has had the opportunity to serve in this capacity for the past 12 years. Virgil McDaniel is the Vice President of Human Resources for EGI, Inc. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Police Administration and Business. He is certified through the Society of Human resource Management as a Professional in Human Resources.
Before joining EGI, Inc., Virgil was with the City of Dayton Police Department and retired after 28 years of service at the rank of Lt. Colonel.

Ritu is a Human Resources Consultant at NCR Corp. Ritu is an active member of national and local professional human resources organizations including the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Miami Valley Human Resources Association (MVHRA). She realizes the importance of MVHRA in serving the needs of the local businesses and human resources community. She believes that a strong membership base is crucial to the success of MVHRA. Mark Ording is a Regional Leader for Primerica, and has over 20 years experience in the field of Sales and Marketing. He is a graduate of Clark State Technical College. He currently holds State of Ohio Insurance and the NASD Series 6, 26, & 63 License's. Mark has worked on the Networking & publicity Committee for several years and has been the Chair of the Networking & publicity Committee for the past two years. Mark has assisted running the Professional Development Workshop and Vendor Fair for the past several years. Mark is our 2004 Vice President on The MVHRA Board of Directors. Rosemary is the owner and President of R.C. Rulka Consulting, LLC. Rosemary has over 20 years of experience in Management, Human Resources and Training.
Rosemary earned her BA in Human Resource Management from Capital University and her M.S. from Central Michigan University with a concentration in Administration and Organizational Behavior. Ms. Rulka is a current member of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society, a Professional Member of SHRM, and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources Management.
Prior to forming her own company, Rosemary held positions as Corporate University Director and Regional HR Director for CBS Personnel Services. Ms. Rulka has also performed consulting work for Drake Beam Morin and held several management positions with Sears Roebuck Company including Operations, Merchandising, Store Management, and Human Resources Management. She also taught Human Resources Management classes for 9 years at Capital University .
Michael M. Massie

Michael Massie (Matt) works as the Assistant Director of Career Services for ITT Technical Institute. Prior to ITT Technical Institute he worked as a Technical Recruiter/Staffing Manager for Rapid Design Service.
Michael has been in HR related positions for over 5 years and has belonged to the MVHRA for over 3 years. He is also a member of the Greater Dayton IT Alliance and the Multimedia Communications Association.
He and his wife, Christina own and operate a small business in Centerville which he handles all of the Human Resources duties for.
Geeta Wilson

Originally from the UK, Geeta joined NAS Recruitment Communications in
2007 and offers over 12 years combined international, corporate, higher education and healthcare experience. Geeta consults directly with organizations to analyze recruitment and retention behavior related to the employee life cycle. Geeta's prior experience includes working as Director of Consulting Services for JWT Employment Communications, as well as Human Resource Manager at Kettering Health Network. Geeta completed her MBA at Andrews University and later worked within the higher education sector. She is a qualified JEB IT instructor and was responsible for the training and development of the 30 strong New Business Development team for Boxclever PLC. She currently serves as the Community Relations chair for Miami Valley Human Resources Association and holds a BA in Public Policy from the University of Teesside, UK. She is also a member the HCI Research Advisory Boad, Phi Kappa Phi and Delta Mu Delta honors society.
Rosalie M. Catalano, MBA, SPHR

Rosalie founded Keystone HR Consulting, LLC, in 2006 bringing together her broad business background and passion for effective communication and human resources. She holds an MBA in finance/applied economics from George Washington University, and received her SPHR designation in May 2004.
She received training from Development Dimensions International (DDI) as a facilitator and in their “Targeted Selection.” She is also trained as an Employee Retention Specialist. She is active in the Dayton chapter of International Association of Business Communicators and serves on the board. She was recognized in 2004 as “Communicator of the Year” by IABC/Dayton and received a 2004 Bronze Quill Award from IABC/Dayton for her involvement in a community public relations effort.
Rosalie has been involved in many local volunteer activities, most recently as a reader for WORDS Radio Reading Service for the visually impaired, as an IABC judge for various Bronze, Silver, and Gold Quill Communication Awards.
She describes herself an excellent communicator; creative problem solver; persistent at tackling challenges; and attentive to details. She embraces change and variety and tries to see the possibilities in any given situation. The MVHRA is pleased to have Rosalie join us as Chair for the Newsletter Committee.
Brian M. Wakefield

BRIAN M. WAKEFIELD is an associate in the Dayton office of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP. He received his undergraduate degrees from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Park University. Mr. Wakefield has a Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Chapman University and law degree from Ohio Northern University. He concentrates his practice in the area of labor and employment law. Mr. Wakefield assists clients with issues arising out of the American with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act as well as other federal state anti-discrimination statutes and Ohio’s unemployment compensation law. His work in these areas includes, but is not limited to, drafting employee handbooks, counseling employers regarding employee leaves of absence, discipline and termination, conducting investigations, and defending employers in administrative proceedings. In addition, Mr. Wakefield represents employers in matters arising out of the National Labor Relatioons Act. He currently serves as a board member of the Xenia, Ohio Family Violence Prevention Center and the Hugh O’Brian Youth Foundation.

Kelly studied Human Resource management at Central Michigan University and held several internships prior to joining Write On Target, Inc. In the role of Networking/Publicity Chair for MVHRA, Kelly utilizes her coordination and interpersonal skills to assist in the coordination of organization events and to increase awareness of MVHRA in the local community.

Rick Blackstone, SPHR, Director Management and Team Training, Reynolds and Reynolds, Dayton, Ohio.
Rick has been in the human resources profession for nineteen years. His broad-based background includes experience in most every aspect of human resources. Rick is currently employed at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company as the Director of Management and Team Training for Reynolds University.
Rick established membership with the Miami Valley Human Resources Association (MVHRA) in 1981. He moved into a leadership role as the Professional Development Chair in 1993. Moving through several board positions, Rick was the Membership Director in 1994, Treasurer in 1995, Vice President in 1996, and served as the President in 1997. He has served in volunteer positions at the state level from 1998 to present.
Rick is a SHRM member, and became SPHR certified in 1995. He teaches a PHR/SPHR certification preparation class on training and development semi-annually at Wright State University. His undergraduate degree is in accounting (Wright State) and his graduate degree is in Education (University of Dayton).

environments include Fortune 500 companies, a technology startup, a business to business brand consulting agency, and a management
consulting firm. For the past fifteen years she has held leadership positions and actively participated in senior management roles. Deb's
proven track record of creative problem solving and strategic thinking assists client companies in aligning their people strategies with their
corporate business goals.
Deb holds a M.B.A. and B.S. in Business from the University of Dayton.She is currently President of the Clothes that Work! Board, serves as
Vice Chair for the March of Dimes Board, and has been elected to serve a 2 year term on the Governing Board of the Dayton Area Chamber of
Commerce. Deb also serves as Professional Development Chair and is a board member of the Miami Valley Human Resources Association (MVHRA). As
Professional Development Chair, she is responsible for securing speakers for monthly association luncheons as well as professional development
workshops for the membership.
Deb was honored in 2005 by being selected as one of Dayton's Ten Top Women by the Dayton Daily News. She is a graduate of the Leadership
Dayton Program and has also attended the executive education program at the University of Michigan's Business School. Deb lives in Germantown,
Ohio with her husband Craig, and their eight dogs and three cats, all strays that they have rescued.

Joseph Seiber is a bachelor candidate at Wright State University majoring in both management and human resources. He will graduate in March of 2007 and plans on pursuing a job in human resources. He also has an associate degree from ITT Technical Institute. He graduated with highest honors in Information Technology.
Joseph is the current President of the Wright State SHRM Student Chapter for the 2006-2007 academic year, which has been named a SHRM Top Ten Student Chapter the past two years. He is looking forward to keeping the tradition of excellence that the past officers have set for the club. He is also the Vice President of Internal Relations for Sigma Iota Epsilon.

Steven has served the HR profession for over 20 years and is President of Gall & Gall Company, Inc. as well as Vision Technologies Group. Steven volunteers throughout the community, having served as a Board member of the Vandalia-Butler Chamber of Commerce (currently Technology Director), the Strategic Planning Committee of the Vandalia-Butler Schools and as President of the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association (currently Technology Director). Steven has been a very active member of the MVHRA, having joined in 1994 and served as Networking and Publicity Chair for over two years, then was voted by the membership to be the Vice-President/President Elect for 2002. In July 2002 Steven stepped up to the office of President of MVHRA when the previous President resigned. Steven then served as President of MVHRA from July of 2002 through 2004 (currently Technology Director). In November of 2004 Steven accepted a new Volunteer Position with the SHRM Ohio State Council as District Director, West Central. This position will allow Steven to visit and work other SHRM Chapters in Ohio and I will continue to work with the new MVHRA Board in this position as well as MVHRA's Past President and MVHRA's Technology Director.

Her 20+ years in human resources has been primarily in the role of an HR Generalist/Manager with government contracting companies in the local Dayton area. Bill Waxman is an associate professor of marketing for Edison Community College in Piqua. Also, he is the program coordinator for the business management program. Throughout his twenty-six years of business experience in private industry he has held a variety of management and marketing positions. Hubert L. Chatman, Director, Continuing Education, joined Sinclair in 2007 with an extensive military, higher education and human resources background. As an Air Force Officer, Hugh received numerous awards including Senior Human Resources Officer of the Year for the United States Air Force. He has served as Director of Human Resources for Central State University, Executive Director of Human Resources, Labor Relations and Personnel Regulatory Compliance at Youngstown State University, and Director of Human Resources for the City of Dayton.
