Maureen Patterson is Vice President Stakeholder Relations for the Dayton Development Coalition. She previously served as the Vice President, Member Relations for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.  Patterson held that position for almost 12 years. She also served as the Executive Director for the Kettering/Moraine/Oakwood Area Chamber of Commerce and Executive Vice President for Fitzpatrick/Patterson Realty Inc.

Patterson currently serves as the Chair for the Montgomery County Human Service Levy Council, Board member for Culture Works, Board member for Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services, and a member of the Grants Committee for the Dayton Foundation.

Previously Patterson served as a trustee for the Kettering Medical Center Network, the Metro board for the YMCA of Greater Dayton and the YWCA of Dayton.  She served as the Secretary for the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association and was a member of the, Associate Board for the Dayton Art Institute.  Patterson also served on the Kettering Charter Review Committee and the Kettering City Schools Strategic Planning Team.

Patterson is the recipient of the YWCA Lifetime Achievement Award and the Women of Influence Award. She received the Enthusiologist Award by the YMCA of Dayton and the President’s Award for her work in establishing the Junior Leadership Dayton Program.

Patterson holds a Degree in Underwriting from the Insurance Institute of America and holds the Certified Property Management designation. She is a graduate of The Leadership Dayton program and has completed the Dale Carnegie course and the Stellar Sales Training course.

Maureen and her husband Don, the Mayor of Kettering, have two grown children, Kevin & Kelly and two grandchildren.
