The Miami Valley Human Resource Association has again been designated as a Superior Merit Chapter by the Society for Human Resource Management.

 

This award recognizes excellence in chapter operations and a commitment to providing meaningful programs and services to our members. By achieving this award, our Chapter distinguished itself as an outstanding organization dedicated to the professional development of our members and the advancement of the human resource management profession.

  

ABOUT THE AWARD

To achieve this designation, MVHRA's Board of Directors follows a Chapter Activity Plan to assist in planning and setting goals; to develop an effective and well managed chapter; to serve as a tool to gather and share information on successful chapter activities, and to recognize excellence in chapter operations.

 

The Chapter Activity Plan encompasses four major categories:

operation of a professional chapter;


  •  

professional development for members;


  •  

support of the profession; and


  •  

Chapters and SHRM in partnership.
